Remember Ryan Sutter from The Bachelorette fame? He is an old friend of mine - as well as the mastermind behind Mixed Market. Mixed Market is a simple way to affect positive change on the world. A growing population is putting exceedingly high demand on the planet and its resources. We all would like to do something to help but either don't know how or don't have the time. Mixed Market provides an opportunity for you to help bring about positive change by doing something you would do anyway. Shopping. By simply clicking on one of the retail links from the Mixed Market shopping page and making a purchase at that store a portion of the purchase price will go towards funding a charitable organization. That's it. That's all it takes to help.

Here's one for the ladies:  What's in your handbag right now?
Submitted by Kadeeae.

  • cell phone
  • broken VW key
  • wallet
  • two tattoo artists' business cards
  • sunglasses
  • list of books I want to pick up
  • two pens and one pencil
  • new community activity/class schedule
  • planner
  • six lip glosses - no wait, seven

And hello to you, rockstar.  I figured this would be as good as any way to introduce myself.  There are many reasons why I am here.  No need to go into all that on our first date.  So, thanks for visiting.  I promise to always wave at you from the front porch.  Maybe we can go out again sometime?
